A Second Chance - We All Deserve One

Eco-Luxurious Vintage & Upcycled Fiber Arts

Everyone comes with a story, everything comes with a past.

These pieces, holding many peoples’ stories, are now recrafted to make a future moment for you.

A desire to make a difference, and one joyful artist make up A Second Chance.  Unique, hand crafted pieces are created from vintage and forgotten clothing.  All materials are 100% RECRAFTED/RECLAIMED keeping post-consumer goods from the landfill.  I create each piece on my great-grandmothers’ needles and sewing machine using what I learned from my grandmother and mom.

A serendipitous combination of vintage fabrics, forgotten clothing, multiple techniques and improvised designs making no two pieces exactly the same.

All supplies are purchased at local charity thrift stores across the USA.  A Second Chance also gives 10% of each year’s sales to KIVA, where small businesses in developing worlds can get the second chance they need.

Have a sweater that you want recrafted or a project with specific colors in mind?  I do commissioned works.  Email me at jess (at) jesspillmore.com or start a conversation with me at ETSY.com
